Domaine Partagé Gilles Berlioz

Domaine Partagé Gilles Beriloz is a family driven producer running their winyards and winery in very close harmony with nature. Bio has been in focus together with sustainable production for more than two decades. Biodynamic principles are applied and all work in vineyards are manual or supported by horses, no mechanisation

The wines are of the highest quality and from the best locations of Chignin in southern Savoie, approximately 100 km south of Geneva. Vintage variation is high to show that nature has its own way. Gilles has been dedicated to increase and promote the quality of the wines from Savoie and is known to have said - partly joking - he wants to create a Romanée-Conti of Savoie.

The positive reviews are very frequent, e.g. in the writing of Wink Lorch when she is discussing the wines of Domaine Partagé Gilles Berlioz:

“[...] La Deuse (Mondeuse) is extraordinary, often with a floral bouquet and from its intense vibrancy, depth of spicy red fruits and supremely balanced tannins”

“[...] Le Jaja is the deliciously light and stony Jacquère”

“[...] pristine, floral, and mineral with great persistence”

* Please note that the wines from Domaine Partagé Gilles Berlioz are certified as Bio in France, but not in Sweden, since Souplesse is not a certified distributor.
